Armed Forces Evacuate 32nd Group of Gaza Children to Jordan for Treatment

Al-Taj News –

The Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army continued on Monday to carry out medical evacuation operations for sick children from the Gaza Strip, evacuating the 32nd group as part of the Jordanian Medical Corridor initiative, in implementation of the Royal directives.

The new group included 8 sick children, accompanied by 8 of their family members, who were transported to the Kingdom to receive treatment and medical care at a number of Jordanian hospitals, in a step that reflects Jordan’s continued efforts to harness its medical and humanitarian capabilities to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, particularly children who require specialized care.

Since the launch of the evacuation operations in March 2025, the Jordanian Armed Forces, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, have continued to carry out patient transfers in accordance with approved health procedures and standards, ensuring that patients reach the Kingdom and receive the necessary medical care.

The continuation of the Jordanian Medical Corridor comes amid the extremely difficult humanitarian and health conditions experienced by the Gaza Strip, reaffirming Jordan’s commitment to supporting its Palestinian brothers and standing alongside the most vulnerable groups, and providing possible treatment and medical care for cases requiring medical intervention outside the Strip.

These efforts embody the humanitarian and medical role undertaken by Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting its Palestinian brothers and strengthening the humanitarian and medical response to their suffering, reflecting the Kingdom’s steadfast approach to providing support and care to patients and the injured, particularly children.
